I think the last time I wrote regularly was [at least] two weeks ago. I know I ended one (incomplete) week with pictures and comments of all things I found to be funny that week and I've been thinking that I may do that every Friday. What do you (sole reader in Medora North Dakota) think of that plan? I also thought about running a meme (that is actually a thing) one day a week. EVIDENTLY (thanks to my friend at http://www.alittlelucidity.com/ sending me info about ANOTHER blogging forum http://www.thesitsgirls.com/, I read about memes (pronounced MAMES) and learned that they are specific topics that a blogger comes up with to write about and to have others write about on the blog. So I could have everyone write about potty training or family [lack of] sleeping arrangements and anyone who wants to write something about that topic would submit. Does that (second person in Casper, Wyoming) sound like a good plan? I feel like if I have a plan, I will definitely follow it. It seems to be common protocol for bloggers to have a Wordless Wednesday. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry. Anyone who knows me (or OF me) would laugh at the word "Wordless" in relation to ANYTHING I may do, but it is definitely something I am interested in trying. It would get me to be more savvy with the whole picture upload/download/...loading thingy (only technical terms are appropriate) and would help me to branch out--outside of my "comfort zone" which seems to be curled up in a little ball of run-on sentences and all CAPS while throwing in parentheses, hyphens and a RIDICULOUS amount of ellipses to validate whatever inane argument I may have that day.
So we are in agreement then? Wordless Wednesdays has a new participant. And Friday (though I don't have a fun name for it yet--I'm still working on a name for this lingering migraine...) will be the day when I select my favorite quotes, posts, pictures...anything that makes me laugh or cry or spew out angry obscenities...whatever, and compile them for you to do with what you will. My "meme" day (if both of you think it is a good idea and would be willing to share posts on that day) will be...maybe Monday? I can play on the alliteration again (which is always so much fun! Especially for my friends who LOVE the perkiness (because doesn't alliteration just SCREAM perky girl from Grease? What was her nam? YES! Patty Sincox (or something like that)! Alliteration is all Patty Sincox and A LOT of my blogging friends are...well...Rizzo, so the Alliteration may be too much for them. if I tell them they can cuss and complain and talk about
Wow--I only have two days (unless I do weekends, which I usually don't do because as I'm sure I mentioned in http://anothertiredmommy.blogspot.com/2011/10/i-almost-got-divorced-last-month.html, my husband gets annoyed when he is home and I am on the computer. It used to be the phone, now it's the computer. I find it pretty funny, because it isn't like he wants to TALK to me, so what's the problem?! I KNOW that there are others of you who are going through the same thing, so THAT can be my first meme! What affect (if any) does the computer/television/telephone have on your marriage? YAY!) to come up with original posts when I was trying to write at least FIVE a week before all of this "planning!" That just gave me SO MUCH TIME! It's like I created the "more time" that we all need in the day. I did that. ME. All by myself. I'm done now...
I can imagine how special your lone readers in Wyoming and North Dakota feel that you care about their needs. You are still hilarious even when your not working at it. :) So, 5 a week?? I'm barely keeping up with two. Power to you sister. And maybe when you are posting more frequently you will have less time to keep kicking my a$# on WWF. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteWell YOU do wonders for my self-esteem! And not ONLY because you let me win at WWF! I STILL cannot comment on your posts, but love them nonetheless...;o)
DeleteThanks for the giggles and extra big thanks for taking the time to read my about page too xo
